This year has felt like an especially drawn out process for all teams and candidates. I’d expect a lot of closure across the board by end of this week.

    Dude had a number one offense with tua. Imagine what he could do with baker

  4. Regardless if I were him I’d take the Lions, Eagles, or even Chargers OC jobs over the Bucs. Eagles and Chargers have a defense so he wouldn’t have to really put up that many points and the Lions have a ton of weapons.

  5. All I can think about is seeing Bowles face on the sideline in the 1st game next year.

  6. This waiting for an OC seems worse than a regular season game down 4 with 2 minutes to play. Stressful.

  7. Lions have the most juice on offense, I’d say we are second, but also in FL- weather/taxes.

    I could see the Raiders making a pitch for him to be their HC, and ouch if they do.

    Nothing more I’d love to see than a McDaniel buccaneers offense, but idk. I also wanted to keep Coen at all costs. It sucks because Bowels defense has underperformed in almost every year sans the Super Bowl.

    The pass to cooper Kupp still stings, and even worse was 3rd and 28/4th and 14 on TNF to the Falcons. Shame on buccaneers GM and ownership if we lose out on all the great candidates and are hamstrung by a lame duck HC. It shouldn’t be that hard, and we should absolutely expect to have at least a league average defense with an edge rusher who can get 10+sacks. If not, I’m going to expect a change.

  8. What’s in it for Jeff? He’s practically been yelling, “McDaniel likes Tampa!” from the beginning. Are we getting played for leverage or something? But I swear it feels like he keeps putting out there, “Tampa, you’re still in play.”

  10. Is Darlington a Bucs fan or is he just buddy buddy with McDaniel’s agent? If it’s the second one I think we have a real shot of landing McDaniel as our OC since he just has been talking about it since McDaniel was fired.

  11. Honestly the Raiders make so much sense for him. Idk why he’d take a OC job when there’s clearly interest for him as a HC. I hope I’m wrong.
