When will we EVER have a great offense?

  1. We keep hiring dcentic coaches or lousy o coaches with bad resumes and once again we will draft defense this draft.

  2. We need a quality quarterback, quality coaching staff, and continuity. We need our offense to progress to Calculus level. Every time we change quarterbacks or coaching staffs, we go back to Algebra I.

  3. When you hire a Head Coach from the offensive side of the ball. If the HC is from the offensive side of the ball, don’t hire a moron.

    That should fix it.

  4. The jets have had a bottom 10 offense every year for the past decade. Bottom 10 in points, bottom 10 in yards. They’ve been bottom 5 for points for 6 of the last 7 years.

The passing yardage they have this year is honestly a mirage. They only had this many yards becuase teams were playing soft in the 2nd half.

They are only the 2nd team since 1980 with less than 1,000 passing yards in the first half of games.

Looking at net yards (passing – sacks) they averaged less than 45 first half passing yards per game.

It’s not just the Jets are bad, they are just awful to watch.

  5. Very hard to have a great offense when you are constantly a dumpster fire at the QB position.

  6. Because we never invest in the offense. We’ve gone defense since Parcells and never even bothered to look the other direction until Gase–20 years later. We’re the most ass backwards franchise in NFL history. When teams revolutionize offense, we try and push defense and guess what? We are still doing it.

  7. We could have one next year with Kyler Murray if we add him and a starting Guard to replace John Simpson and a #2WR like Makai Lemon at pick 16 or if he’s not there Jacobi Lane at pick 44 or maybe a little later as long as it’s in round 2. Engstrand calling plays that work with our receivers strengths would also help.

  8. 2015 we were only average but it’s so rare to see offense that good in green that it felt like we were the greatest show on turf 😂
