KT replying to Carl about effort not being the issue with the team

  1. seems like kayvon is insinuating that coaching was the biggest issue with the team in recent years which considering he was coached by bowen, is believable lol

  2. I think this franchise has broken Carl. He’s gone off the rails this year. I won’t be far behind him if Harbaugh can’t turn this around.

  3. It’s sad what Carl Banks has become on social media. I had to unfollow him awhile ago. Had enough of his schtick. I’ll preserve the memories of the player, but the media talking head is insufferable.

  4. OK Thibs. We’ll see if the new coach can teach you how to finish the play instead of running 5 yards past the QB as you try to sack him.

  5. I wonder if these guys are getting paid to stir up off season drama.

I appreciate it since we got nothing else to do

  6. If Thibs has been satisfied with this team’s effort.

Then he is definitely part of the problem.

  7. Before people go around taking sides, I will remind you all that Nabers also pointed the finger at the coaching. I get the feeling there were significant feelings of incontinent in that locker room.

  8. Effort has been an issue for over a decade. KT is responding because it hit close to home.

  9. Thibs has been a massive disappointment. I hope his effort to become great increases.

  10. I never got the sense the players weren’t trying. I did get the sense they didn’t exactly believe they had elite coaching. They were right.

  11. Thibs has been a massive disappointment. I hope his effort to become great increases.

  12. I have such a love-hate relationship with Banks.

On one hand I love that he calls out the giants when no one else will, but on the other he just makes so many dumb tweets and claims that leave you wondering lmao.

  13. Carl isn’t wrong, especially on Thibs. His motor has always been questionable. I don’t know why fans just can’t accept that. The film doesn’t lie.

  14. KT talkin like this to a legend he can’t even carry the jockstrap for…. get real brother

  15. Nah carls right. The team is full of losers who don’t mind losing. The sort of “effort” Carl is talking about is going above and beyond and being overly prepared. You can’t tell me most of this team did that last season. Proof is in the pudding. Honestly Kayvon might be apart of that problem.

  16. Carl is right on this one and Thibs knows the comment applies to him too. There is a big difference between the way Burns hustles on the field and Thibodeaux. It’s not even close.

  17. Kayvon must have forgotten Deonte “doesn’t tackle” Banks and Jaylin “stop mid-route” Hyatt.

  18. Super high character, move with him to take no responsibility and blame other people. Very inspiring.

A better comment might’ve been “we all could’ve done better. We all could’ve done more and I am personally going to do everything I can to get the most out of my ability for this team.”

  19. Yeah to me this confirms that the players are tired of what he’s been saying. We are tired of it too Kayvon

  20. I would argue that effort, especially on film, tells the story. Especially among first contract guys. Banks is a great example. But we have seen a drop in play from free agents as well. It’s both a coaching issue, an effort issue on film, and seems like in practice as well (Carter falling asleep in film, missing walkthroughs, then once called out he looked like a completely different player because he was embarrassed). This team needs a coach coach, like coughlin, and not a coach who isn’t respected like Shurmur, Judge, Daboll towards end of tenure. If you lose during your tenure or have no record of winning, you need something for people to respect you

  21. How is effort not a problem when Banks doesn‘t know his assignments in the run game regularly and don’t know how to tackle properly. Preparation is also effort, it’s not just hustling to the ball during the game

  22. As much as I love and respect Carl, he needs to stay the F off X.
His unraveling and being a flip-flopping homer is embarrassing to watch. He’s a grown ass man who played with LT and earned a ring, arguing with strangers online about the team. And his position is just “defend the Giants,” no matter what they do or how they play. Shane Bowen is trash? Banks defended him. Shane Bowen is fired. Banks throws him under a bus.

Now Tibs is calling him out on his nonsense. When players are telling you to STFU, it’s time to STFU.
