[Crosby] Braves shortstop Ha-Seong Kim will miss four to five months after tearing a tendon in his right middle finger. He had surgery in Atlanta today after sustaining the injury in Korea during offseason training. So, Atlanta’s now back to asking about who covers shortstop for 2026.

  1. The good news is because of the injury, Atlanta can give him another 1 year prove it deal and we can have him miss the first half to 2027 to some weird injury too!

  2. It’s ok. I will sign an executive order mandating that all teams play without a shortstop. It will be very unfair, and we’ve been getting ripped off for too long. Everyone is saying it.

  3. Baseball is no one’s friend. If baseball were an ice cream flavor, it would be pralines….and diiiick.

  4. Noo, that blows. I really wanted him to comeback this season and have a great year. He feels still undervalued but the injury bug bit him recently

  5. This is straight up depressing. I root for HSK as a player and I feel for the braves org, that’s 3 straight seasons (at least) that they’re a top 3-4 team on paper but injury ruins it
