3. Nobody saw this free agent signing coming! I think anything is possible it’s obvious Breslow is working outside of the box. I ultimately believe Brez will trade for a hitter/ inf . If they actually signed Bichette I’d have to STFU. I think presently they have a Top 3 Rotation in MLB. Finally, I believe they wanted Bregman but just not for 5 years and Bregman walked.

I suppose paredes will be fine offensively but his defense is actually really bad so idk that’s the best fit with a ground ball heavy starting rotation. 11. In Berslow head pitching will win games. Which is true. But Boston’s rotation isn’t in the top rotation in the leagues. They are good but not the best. Boston spent 21 million on Sonny they could have used on a bat. Even trading cost money. Boston is done spending.

25. Honestly, I think they should prioritize plus defense at 2B and 3B, right handed bats who are not a liability at the plate. I think the young guys that they have will provide much of the power people are wanting as they mature and get better. We don't need another strike out machine that is going to strand runners in scoring postion with no outs 90% of the time. They were too good at that last year.

Marte is 32 for Duran and Tolle. Breslow kpjust took all thus high leveraged talent for players 32-36 and a 28 yo based on body type and a 25 yo AAA for a 22 yo MLB ready RH power arm. Maybe we could figure out how to get some pieces back in that deal that could entice the Cubbies. 3 team trades are tough but this situation actually seems to match up pretty well. Maybe Tong heads to CHC for starters. Not sure what else Chicago might be looking for but Shaw for Tong+ doesn't seem that crazy to me.
