Seriously. I don’t care what anybody says I like the hire and I’m going to trust the process. Yes I know we’re gonna have a very tough schedule since we’re gonna be facing 5 AFC opponents but let’s be realistic. This guy has been to the trenches with majority of the AFC teams we’re gonna be facing this season. Again my personal opinion.

  1. Alright there it is. Confirmed: the Atlanta Falcons will be 6 time SB champions within 20 years

  2. A more recent example Mike Vrabel got fired from the Titans after two subpar years. He’s doing pretty good for the Patriots this year.

  3. What I don’t understand is how anyone that actually follows the game closely hates the hire.

I can understand people who would want to go with Kubiak instead but to hate the hire is just stupid

  4. I am more worried about the Quarter Back situation than anything else. Any HC at this point in the league is an upgrade over Raheem. But if we are stuck with Kirk Cousins and Penix comes back and is a dud we are fooked.

  5. Even if he turns out to be good, he doesn’t have a reliable quarterback. Penix has yet to play even a full season. This is his third ACL tear (he had two in college at Indiana). Between college and the NFL, he has had five season-ending injuries in eight years

Total Years: 8 seasons since high school.
Full Seasons Finished: 2 (Both at Washington).
    Season-Ending Injuries: 5.
    ACL Tears: 3.

Bijan is amazing but that’s clearly not enough. There’s some good QBs coming out next season at least. I don’t really like the idea of making a huge trade up for one. There could be a solid pick up in the 2nd round though

  6. For context.

Andy Ried, Bill Belicheck, Bill Parcels, Sean Payton, Chuck Knoll, Mike McCarthy, Jim Harbaugh all had 4 losing seasons

All won super bowls. I’m sure those fan bases had negatives to say about their hires. And all wanted “their guy”. Sometimes you need to see how it plays out.
