At one point, 72 players appeared on the injury report – the most in the league (Dallas was second at 58). We weren’t supposed to be in the top 25% of the league at 12-5, having a shot at the number one seed, with all the injuries, but there we were. Top 8 means 24 teams didn’t make it this far. We won a playoff game against the defending champs in their house and lost to the number one seed. The Niners season was a blast. The NFL is nuts.
