  1. Ku, when the Pistons slaughter the Celtics tomorrow night, what will be your new narrative? In terms of Ivey’s unhappiness, the dude has like 5 young kids. I’m sure he’s looking to earn his money for his young family, not playing well certainly is hurting his earning potential. If anything he needs to be angry with Cole Anthony for breaking his leg.

On a side note, parting ways with Ivey is disappointing because they had a chance to swing for the fences by drafting Shaedon Sharpe in that draft. SMH.

  2. Personally I don't think Ivey is unhappy. I think he might be sad because he really wanted to be here, and he may feel that his time maybe coming to an end in Detroit, although I haven't heard anyone else mention that he appears unhappy……

  3. Purdue head coach chewed out Ivey on national TV for not playing defense. Monty Williams benched Ivey for not playing defense. JB is dealing with a kid who just doesn't get it even after sitting and watching for a year. Straighten up and fly right, Mr. Ivey, or you be gone.

  4. JI sees the writing on the wall and he's pissed because he's not playing up to his standards and word on the streets he's on the chopping block, so he's trying to hard to make plays and shots and it's not working and JB stop leaving him in long enough to shoot it out. He's pissed everybody getting shine but him. Plus the 2way is about to get a contract so he's really pissed

  5. He was clearly hobbling against the Pacers. But sulking is never ok whether it's about playing time or frustration from recovering.

It's clear he has not fully recovered and is still working himself back to form.

I still don't want to include him in a MPJ trade that has 2 firsts attached. If it's 1 pick then sure.

  6. Here’s an idea. Let’s dismantle the entire team and go back to setting losing streak records while being the laughing stock in all of sports!! 14-68 baby

  7. Ivy has to get over it cuz they not the Detroit ivy’s they the Detroit pistons we gotta keep winning. He don’t play no defense. He waiting for Jesus to come back but garland unalived him and ran around him for a layup. I’m just sayin smh

  8. Damn, I was hoping that this wouldn’t happen with Ivey. So sounds like Ivey isn’t favored by JB. I still don’t think we should move on from him especially for the likes of a MPJ. Smh

  9. Relax fellas they going to figure it out they're not the bad boys they're not they're going to work crew but they're pretty damn good we do need another shooter piston power

  10. This is super sad.
Sounds like Ivey may not ever get that burst of speed back.

If that is the case, he likely will not get to the place of being a star player. I wouldn't be surprised if his value is at the highest place it ever will be. I would like for him to stay on the Pistons, because he is a great character guy and lots of fun to root for; but if JB doesn't think he is good enough to be a solid player anymore, then we may as well trade him to a place that will give him a starting spot. It would be sad if that comes back to haunt us, but it sounds likely that wont be the case.
