We ended up getting Yegorov with the pick that we received for Marino 🤷‍♂️
Never should’ve gotten rid of him.
Conveniently ignoring that Marino struggled after leaving the team, right? On paper we’ve got a good defensive roster, not really mad about that. More mad about contracts and move clauses in that department.

+/- is mainly a team stat. This is a nothing burger. Connor Bedard was -36 last year.

Loved Marino, even bought his jersey. But like other poster said, if Big Mike pans out it’ll have been a masterful trade.

Marino was absolute shit in 23-24. Most everyone around here wanted him gone
I specifically remember many fans here calling for his removal from the team
We have reached a point of “reminiscing and wishing we had John Marino back” stage of the season and that isn’t a good sign. I liked Marino but I don’t think he’s a difference maker with all the crap going on with this team.
He was -6 in his last season here and +1 his first year in Utah.
Stats are neat, huh?
Btw. Quinn was 0, -10 and -24 his first 3 seasons. That’s pretty normal for young defensemen.
He was -10 last season. Thank *god* we didn’t sign him, huh? He must suck! /s
