[Petrielli] Six of the Leafs’ seven OT winners this season have been scored with OEL on the ice (vs. zero against!), with OEL assisting on three of them. He’s also now tied for fifth among NHL defensemen in five-on-five points (23)

By far the most skilled D men we have as well as a nasty side to him. OEL is a genuine beauty
Guy has 31 points in 48 games. Doing everything right on the ice too, what a steal.
Rielly has been outscored 5-1 conversely
No wonder he made team Sweden.
OEL the OT specialist!
Great signing by Treliving
Better put Rielly out there to ice it though
Love this guy. He may not be the youngest but he’s got wicked skills, smarts, and is an underrated defensive defenceman.
Reilly shouldn’t be on the ice during OT, he’s so slow, it’s why he has to try to make those diving plays, he’s too slow on the backcheck.

Question: can OEL play 60 minutes a game?
If so, I shall dust off my parade plans.
Someone please post the gif!
Yet rielly still plays more in OT and gets 1st PP. Every time in the last 2 years that they’ve demoted rielly from the powerplay and limited his minutes, his play has gotten better, the powerplay works better, and OEL plays well in those minutes. Then after a couple games they go back. At this point its time to make the change long term and give rielly secondary assignments, and if he doesnt like it then they can start talking about his no move clause. Love the guy, but hes a liability and hes not getting it done offensively
OEL is incredible. His most underrated skill is his tenacity. He’s a tough nut who takes shit from no one.
Its not rocket science to notice OEL has been playing his balls off, since he publicly stated he wants the PP1 QB position and will force Berube to give him a shot with his play.
Kinda surprised neither Sullivan nor Berube have given him an extended look yet
True number one D this season, Rielly has been a third pairing guy.
He’s a smart player. Adapted his game with age. Knows his limits.

Goal-EL
Easily our best Swede.
That’s my number 1 D.
