Not really surprised tho he is probably HOF tier of positional coaches, little concerned with him being 70 idk if he’ll want to coach for long. Ledford will definitely find himself a job, but would be nice to have kept him just off potential longevity
Ledford should be retained. Matt Ryan should block this move. Ledford was able to get Elijah to play decent as a third string tackle.
He has the reputation of one of the best Oline coaches, we in Nashville were pumped when he came. But the oline was ass and actually improved fo league average once he left. Good luck to yall, maybe itll work better. Maybe Brian Callahan was just that much of a terrorist.
Callahan is one of the best OL coaches in the league and was instrumental in getting the Browns to the playoffs in 2020 and 2023. Once he left Cleveland their OL went to shit.
Callahan is one of the only OL coaches I would take over Ledford.
Can we hire him as a special assistant or something and still keep ledford?
What’s his W/L record?…seems to be the only salient metric in this Sub these days.
Run the option
Husker legend.
He and Stefanski have history together as he was the Browns’ OLine coach from 2020-23. Their OLine got much worse when he left
I just want to know who is taking over special teams. What a disaster.
His brother Tom made the best damn brake pads I can tell you that much
You probably don’t hire Stefanski if you don’t want Callahan, need him to run the kind of blocking schemes they want to run.
It’s Stefanski’s staff. He should have full autonomy- if that means losing a few good current coordinators, so be it. Bad organizations meddle in the day to day operations and create ambiguity in the chain of command. If it is not clear on who is in charge, then no one is.
Titans oline was terrible
We’re cooked, y’all.
I actually love this, we need gap scheme, we need more *developed* running schemes. We were so fucking predictable dude.
That is an S tier hire. Any one who isn’t over the moon for that signing doesn’t know ball.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he was brought in as more of a consultant, special assistant type.
I think more thana nything this solidifies Brian as our OC
stefanski was definitely NOT leaving the room if he made it to the titans 2nd interview. glad the falcons got their guy instead of waiting around for an OC who may or may not want the job.
This I like
He’s 70. That’s way too old for the NFL. This league demands the most of your coaches, you need to be energized, want to be there, and be able to evolve with the game. He has a good reputation because he WAS a good coach. Time comes at you fast, we can’t hire a 70 year old coach, that’s crazy.
I misread this as “join his son Brian with the Titanic”
With the number 1 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft the Atlanta Browns select…
Let him choose all his guys

It’s an upgrade over Ledford. Honestly this OL has been overrated for a few years now. Even Lindstrom struggles horriblly against Vita Vea and Derreck Brown.
