18. Remember when goalies dropped gloves regularly? When I was a kid I modeled my game after Battlin' Billy Smith, he was notorious for starting scraps, had a habit of poking skates out from under guys and slashing at them as they skated past. Dan Cloutier was also one of those goalies the coach had to keep on a short leash, he loved a good fight. As a kid I found it nearly impossible to stay on my feet while fighting in goalie gear so most fights were hugging matches until we both fell over.
