  1. Wish one of them would ask what Todd thinks the team needs to improve on. It's like they look at the record and just go "wow how are you guys so good?" But the coach keeps saying we've got room to grow and it's true. We win a lot of games by a thin margin.

  2. Copp is ALWAYS the better interviews. It's pretty obvious that he dislikes the media or maybe just dumb media. Helen does a GREAT job at making players dislike the media. If I knew the names of the other dood, I would call him out too.

  3. this bum coach's hatred for Kane would almost be funny if he weren't actively ruining Kane's late career over it. he's so insincere it's embarrassing. he obviously hates him and views him as a burden. "he always wants to be on the ice more." Yea like in all the situations he was fantastic in before you screwed him over and buried him out of personal hatred. Or to pump up a scrub like Emmitt finnie with no future and no present.

Compare the way Joel Quenneville talked recently when asked to comment on Kane. That's a guy who knows he wins you Cups. McLellan views Kane only as a burden to his 'program', a program that's never won anything. Never even made a Final in 20 years. And won't this year – unless Kane does stuff to make it happen. Come playoffs it won't be JvR or Larkin and probably not Ray or Cat either scoring you the big goals in the big moments, or creating the plays that lead to the big goals. It'll be the guy Todd hates who can make freak plays out of nowhere w passes or shots that shouldn't work but do. Plays that can't be anticipated, defended or prevented. The guy who instead of shrinking or getting nervous in the big moments when everyone else does, gets calmer and better. There is no 3v3 OT to hold Kane out of in the playoffs, Todd. You will find out.

Basically – McLellan doesn't want anyone bigger than his lame 'program', or succeeding outside of its parameters. Another petty egomaniac and tyrant in a league full of them. Imagine being that in love with a program that's never done anything but fail when it matters. 20 years now. Regular season ain't the playoffs, Todd. Finnie and Larkin and JvR and whatever other joke will get eaten alive come playoff time just like they do against the Carolinas of the world.
