Dude is gonna be a stud for us! This is more in relation to the general weakness at 3B than it is to him being this huge prospect unfortunately. Hes awesome but he’s also outclassed by a number of current SS who will inevitably have to switch their “full time” position to 3B Also have doubts about his ability to stick at third Drew and Brock let’s go One of the weaker positions in the current crop of minor leaguers but still great to see. Please God General consensus seems to be that the bat will play but it’s questionable he can stay third. He’s more valuable at third but we’ve had such trouble at the corners the last decade or so even if he stays at first that’ll be great. This is encouraging of course, but ultimately I think our long term 3B is Made. I’d like it if we took steps to convert Fischer to 1B though. I think a number of prospects won’t stick at short and slide over like Walcott, gonzales and maybe even made.
