  1. It's a salary dump but a necessary one because if he got injured we would be screwed add then he would have to be bought out Chris getz said he wanted two young players and he got that

  2. A McDonald's Happy Meal for Robert would be a win. He's never played a full season, he's fragile, strikes out and is overpaid for 50 to 90 games a year.

  3. Hi there, Mets fan here on my first visit. I really am enjoying it. I’m excited for Luis. He’s got the physical tools and hopefully a new team, new city, Soto and Lindor and Bichette getting on for him will mean good things. I’ll miss Acuna a lot as will most fans. In 2024, Lindor got hurt down the stretch and Luisangel came up and played a great SS down the stretch and into the playoffs. He didn’t get regular time last year and he did not hit at all. But he’s fast as hell he can play SS (his primary position) 2B. CF and he’s definitely fearless. pauley has a fun arsenal with a gyro-cutter. Gonna be some serious spin mechanics Ivy League convo! Have a great season!

  4. Had to be the Mets. They love throwing money around. Meanwhile, the White Sox clear out payroll space for all the free agents they aren't going to sign. Mully believes that Acuna can't play center field because a short guy doesn't look "elegant" enough playing the outfield? Huh? How is that relevant? That comment reminds me of when the Hawkaroo opined that Gordon Beckham had a "good face for baseball." It was one of those palm-to-forehead moments when you realized that Hawk was maybe a little TOO comfortable behind the microphone.
