2. Thanks, Guff. The succession of injuries and painfully unfulfilled promise of that fragile trio of Junior, Eloy and Moncada wore many of us out as fans. This trade at last and at least marks the end of it, and I myself can't help feeling somewhat relieved.
   Felt very similarly about the Vaughn dump. And yeah, let's just see what they'll do with that 20 mil they're saving. Like yourself, I hope they're not done.

4. Kepler will not help the White Sox because of the p.e.d. suspension. Bader would make sense if he wants to come to a team that's not challenging for the postseason at the moment.

6. Its amazing to me how fast and hard the rebuild fizzled out. I thought they were building a team that looked like the Indians of the 90's but every single player flamed out (some of the pitchers did okay I guess). They all had good years and they put it together for one regular season but's that's it. And it's not like a change of scenery was needed. Anderson, Moncada, Abreu, Jimenez all out of baseball (or barely still in).

   Now what I fear is if the Sox made some good moved, have good chemistry and start to put it together – that's when the lockout will happen. I swear this organization is snake bit.

   Is it wrong to feel optimistic that things will somehow get better when we finally get to the Ishbia era?

10. Any team with an $87 million dollar payroll that waits until all the big free agents are signed elsewhere and needs to dump another $20 mil before they announce they're gonna be active in free agency isn't gonna do anything worth a lick in free agency.

12. I mean seriously, a team in a top 3 market in the US cant even spend $100 mil in a year when all their top prospects are already up? What a joke.

13. Yahoo no more pre performance contacts which was being cheap but terrible outcomes.
