David Hamilton apparently is not finished with his 9 Lives.
Keep up the good work as always, Corbin!
Nice that the Sox officially announced the Ranger Suarez signing today too!!! Saw you in the chat on the live on NESN's YouTube channel!
Thanks. Hope we get lucky
Red Sox legend Tristan Gray
The return for Tristan Gray was Nate Baez a C/1B AA player nothing great but better something than a DFA
Nice job grouping them together. Glad to see the Sox traded for a depth catcher and used a player from a spot of overstock to do it. Are they trying to show us they know what they are doing?
I think Gray would have been a great depth defensive piece so it sucks he's gone but he would have been picked up if we had to go through waivers so at least we got something in return. Something like the 11th or 12th trade for Breslow this off season (that just sounds crazy I don't remember any team making this many trades in one off season)
Interesting updates we'll see what happens I can definitely see Seth Martinez up with the big league club at some point in 2026!
FYI here is what the Sox got back from Minnesota Red Sox acquired C prospect Nate Baez from the Twins for INF Tristan Gray.
The Red Sox needed to free up a 40-man roster spot to sign Ranger Suarez, so they will swap Gray for yet another catching prospect. Baez was the Twinsโ 12th-round pick in 2022 and hit .278/.371/.423 in 96 games between High-A and Double-A in 2025 with eight home runs and 54 RBI. The 24-year-old has a good approach at the plate with solid pull-side power and played all over the field at Arizona State, which gives him a little bit more value
Blink ad is pretty slick ngl
So I will give Brelsow credit for really being able to provide a lot of depth to the roster and minor leagues, he is one of the best even we have not heard a lot of the names prior to their arrival. If only he could put that kind of effort into getting top tier players without being forced into it (AKA Bregman last year and Suarez this year) I'm mostly talking about signing of FA not trades. This team would be right up their if he could do that.
Excited for Nate Baez, could have some good potential in this organisation
Not sure if you have a video planned for this, but I'd love to know your thoughts on what the lineup looks like if the Sox do what they do best the rest of this offseason……nothing. I personally don't hate the idea of going Mayer at 3rd and Romy at 2nd..I think Romy definitely earned some more trust and playing time after last season. Do you think that would still put us in contention or anywhere close, though?
Click bait dog shit ๐
Seth Martinez might be the best of this lot. Did you mention, Corbin, the spot starter/long relief pickup from Japan, Tayron Guerrero? He's not particularly good, but he has some MLB experience. Have you noticed all the minor league catchers that they traded for this offseason? AAA-Jason Delay, AA-Nate Baez, 3 from A+ Adonys Guzman, Raudelis Martinez and Ronny Hernandez, A Luke Heyman. Which of these catchers, do you think, will develop enough for the majors?
They got a late round catching prospect from a couple years back for Tristan.
Trading Gray for a young catcher is another good trade. Gray really didn't have a place on the team and by trading him to the White Sox , he'll have a shot at playing time. Breslow seems to be stocking up on catching depth. Which is a plus….
๐๐๐ so youโve turned to comedy lol
Bro stop saying interesting
Good information
So far Romy and Eaton seem to be the most exciting and potentially the most productive utility guys. Love Soggard but not sure how high his ceiling is.
I think the Red Sox should trade the entire team for Ohtani. Jk
