A little reference to a post on the Rags sub I found amusing.
Fun little story: in Seattle today, I decided to get coffee after a long day at the market and walk past a guy in a suit talking to two people. I do a double take. Yup, it’s Patrick Roy.
I get coffee and drag it out a bit so to not run into him again and walk back where I came from, and I realize this is probably the hotel the Isles are staying at and that’s the team bus. So I stop to take a picture of the bus, and realize that someone is walking right in front of me in the middle of my picture, glancing at me. Naturally, it’s Mayfield.
I scrambled out of there before I ran into anyone else. I figured I’d curse them with bad luck.
Hate to say it, but I thought we played decent today and just hit some bad luck.
