1. Ku I always look forward to your podcasts. It has been a routine now to watch your podcasts after a game. It just feels good to hear from another pistons fan. From where I’m from I think I’m the only pistons fan around

2. I’ve not been the biggest Ivey guy but here’s my opinion. His 3 pt shot is there. If you believe he gets his burst back by next year you keep him. If not you trade him but not for peanuts.

3. I like watching Ivey play, so I’d want him to stay if he’s willing to take an inexpensive contract that is accurate to how good he is right now (not based off of being the 5th pick or his potential). Maybe like a 1 year, 7 million dollars.

For decades star players have had defenders throw hard fisted punches at their hands purportedly to knock the ball out but also to batter and injure a star's hands, his touch. That is what happened to Cade. It's very common in the NBA and has been forever.

13. Honestly KU my only thing that would solidify Ivey getting traded is seeing a couple games of him actually having plays ran for him, dho's screen & rolls off ball cuts. I just want to see him in actions, it's not helping confidence and reps whatsoever to have him play defense and then run to the corner and get the ball 14 seconds into the shot clock just to pass it to someone at the top of the key! 14. I agree. I like Ivey, but I would move him in a package for a scorer. Man, we have an opportunity to make a run rn. We need someone other than Cade who can get buckets. Malik Monk is expensive contract, but he brings that attitude to swing a game off the bench. Or MPJ…

To be fair, Ivey situation isn’t his fault, being in a contract year AND not fully ready just isn’t his fault, he was showing signs before Cole Anthony destroyed his contract situation, just give him time, he can be a 6th man for now but IF he’s asking for a big payday THEN I would say trade him

Assuming you don’t really game and your main goal is just streaming/ podcasting + video recording/editing and you want to be as inexpensive as possible in these days, honestly, I’d go with the Intel Core Ultra 5 245K paired with an RTX 4060. That CPU is huge for podcasting because it runs way cooler than the older stuff, so your fans stay quiet on the mic, and it has a dedicated brain just for handling AI noise suppression. Plus, the 4060 is easily the smartest way to get that crisp, pro-level stream quality right now without massively overpaying. If you game or do more heavy video editing work on the side we might want to bump those specs up a few levels, but assuming you don’t, this is my rec.

I am not on the we must trade Ivey bandwagon because I would rather play Ivey with Daniss off the bench than Cariss even without his burst.

26. Successful post play opens 3 points and floor space. This team identity is not 3 pointers although they have weapons in Beef Stew at the 4. Coach did excellent in developing his PG rotation and will eventually show Cade has help with this game

29. Ku, you have to look at the game situations he's played under. First year: without Cade. Second year under Monte Williams, Third year injured. So what are you measuring him off of. He hasn't had a chance to perform under the best circumstances. Put yourself in his shoes.

32. Daniss is the perfect archetype for a backup PG. You want your backup PG to at worst, keep the ship steady until your starters come in. And at best, help extend the lead. Even though he's not great at any one thing, he also has no real flaws.

33. Since being out for a week Cade is averaging 14ppg at less than 28 FG% with over 16 attempts per game. Should give both Cade and Ivey time to recover or should they trade both of them?

It took 12 months to get back in the court , it took 18+ months to get actual back. I don’t know if we have that time. If you can get an assist for him it’s worth it.

I don't think there's an argument to play ivy over Jenkins but there's an argument to play him with him, if you look at how well they play together they should play a lot of minutes to get together. When Cade is healthy there shouldn't be a single minute of ivy on the floor without either him or Jenkins

37. Trade ivey if it gets you something absolutely. But if.not just keep him and see if his athleticism comes back. Id definitely shut him down this year though. Just shooting 3s with everything else below average just isnt helping.

    But initiator ausar is only visually good through rose colored lenses. He still has a bad handle. He gets too deep. For playing a terrible defense I thought it did not look good at all.

    For tm3, I knoe people are getting down on him, but my problem is we heard all of this about cade from the outside. If youre the only half way decent defender like cade was 2 years ago, yeah you look bad too. You dont have the same effort either. If youre playing on a team that wont find you when youre moving, why would you work off ball? I am not overpaying for him either on the 3 or 4 picks. But if they are just taking levert ivey snd a couple im all in that

41. I think Ausar trips sometimes because he is so athletic that his body wants to do things and does things that his mind can’t process fast enough. It’s like in those old cartoons when the characters would run so fast in place they wouldn’t go anywhere until they suddenly takeoff

44. Ivey broke his leg! He hasn't played in almost a year. Ku, you need to relax. I agree, Ivey or Caris are not primary ball handlers, and Daniss should be the backup pg. It's crazy how we go hard on Ivey but give grace for Ausar to become a functional offense player. Unless someone spoonfeeds him, he's too limited. He's shooting 56% from the FT and 26% from 3. Once again, not killing him because he can become the 2nd best player we have, but his warts can't be dismissed.

The way I see the JI situation is if they aren’t going to win the finals this season, which given that they haven’t won a playoff series yet I think is the likely outcome, then there’s no downside to being patient and giving him until next season to see major improvement. The only problem is free agency right? So if they don’t trade him they risk losing him anyway for nothing?
