17. Literally none of these stats make your point at all. LaCombe is -2 and Hutson is +18……. so on top of being a better player on point totals(by 20 points) hes also a better defensive player…. If Hutson was a Leaf you'd be losing your mind over this snub.

24. You are correct sir. LaCombe is 5 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier. He is a penalty killer and fits the needs of the team while still being able to move the puck and skate well. He has been contributing offensively and putting up decent points too. Go back and watch Miracle or Moneyball and see some insights into building a TEAM instead of just putting together some all-stars and hoping for the best.

25. So glad LaCombe is on the team and not Hutson. The Olympic break will do wonders for Hutson's performance for the last games of the season and for the playoffs.

26. Interesting if playing in the iihf WC matters. Lane played a full season and would have been a late add to the team last spring. Lane played at the u18 u20 and WC for the US in 2022/2023. It’s probably more of a size and usage thing which puts LaCombe over Hutson. Lane has a sneaky good defensive game and has played on the PK but I think there is a misconception that he is all offense, no defense.
