Orioles Offseason: MASSIVE Success (Even Without Framber Valdez) | Big Bad Morning Show
Are the Orioles ALREADY winners this offseason? ⚾️🔥
The 2026 Baseball America Top 100 list is out, and the Baltimore Orioles have 5 prospects in the rankings—including Samuel Basallo sitting at No. 9. While some fans are screaming for the front office to sign Framber Valdez or trade for another ace, the Big Bad Morning Show crew of Rob, Ed, and Jeremy dive into why this offseason is already a “Massive Success,” even if the moves stopped today.
In this clip:
0:00 – The Prospect Power: We compare the 2022 rebuild vibes to 2026. Is having 5 Top 100 guys (Basallo, Beavers, etc.) still exciting, or do fans only care about “win-now” talent?
3:11 – The Big Additions: Why the arrivals of Pete Alonso, Taylor Ward, and Shane Baz have already fundamentally changed this roster.
5:01 – The Gunnar & Jackson Factor: We discuss why a healthy Gunnar Henderson (no more shoulder impingement!) and a maturing Jackson Holliday are better than any free-agent signing.
7:15 – The Return of the Ace: Why Kyle Bradish looked like his 2023 Cy Young-caliber self in his return from Tommy John, and why he might be the “ace” everyone is looking for.
Is it “leaving meat on the bones” if they don’t land a frontline starter, or have the Orioles already won the winter?
Tell us in the comments: Would you give Mike Elias an ‘A’ grade right now, or do they NEED one more pitcher?

I'm not calling it a success unless the O's sign Framber. Peralta just got traded. Starting rotation is not good enough to compete with top teams.
