So the point it seemed like she was about to make about GB's QB philosophy (that she then just kinda skipped over) is that they flipped a lot of backups to other teams for draft picks during those Favre-Rodgers years. They weren't drafting a succession plan, that was how they acquired more picks. Keep in mind that Favre never missed a start, so it wasn't about drafting just in case. It was about drafting as a way of essentially creating new draft capital.
