Phillies need a rebuild. They're too old and refuse to change. We need new bats period. Every year the bats never show up
Every year. You won't even see me in October this year because they won't win w this team.
Dombrowski is a J.O. dried up old man …who has zero energy…you expect him to be a go getter …im tired of his bullshit dried up act
A lot of the 96 win season last year was due to the Braves being injury riddled and the Mets collapsing. NY has improved and so will Atlanta.. As is, Phils win 88 maybe and squeeze in the 6th seed in 2026
Looks like it’s gonna be a long time before Middleton get his trophy back.
Need Crawford and painter to work out to not have a riot on hand this season…
I see a lot of other teams making moves while the Phillies sit ideal with their run it back team. Same crappy team…same crappy results.
Unless Wheeler is back 95%, AND Nola reverts to his former best, this is now a 500 team. Losing Straham, and no meaningful adds, the window has closed. They’re deluding themselves like Ruben did 12-13 years ago.
I agree. I’m right at 500 unless Wheeler and Nola shock us, and I expect neither. This team is officially old with massive pitching issues and a dreck OF.
We don't care what Ruben would do. Disrespectfully
I don't get it, what is the excitement around Bader? Sure he did pretty good for us the last 2 mo of the year, except for the postseason, because he was injured leading up to it, but he is ALSO north of 30, has bounced around several teams, and why do you think that is? People really think he's going to be a star suddenly as he's approaching his mid 30s??!? Get real.
Let’s face it…..the Phillies have too many holes
1000% done. Who cares if they won 96 games LY. They have lost 10/13 playoff games. Basically same hitters going on 5 years
1. Turner
2. Schwarber
3. Harper
4. Bohm
5. Garcia
6. Marsh
7. Stott
8. Crawford
9. Realmuto
The Mets did Phillies a favor signing Bo Bichette. The team has quite a few interesting hitting prospects that could become major players if they continue to develop. Beyond just Miller and Crawford, they have Keaton Anthony, Griffin Burkholder, Garbiel Rincones. These guys could be good, and it's really not unlikely that at least one of them could develop to be a player of Bo Bichette caliber within 1-2 years. Bo Bichette is a 3-4 WAR and 800 OPS player… it's not that hard to recreate that value. I think at this point the team's best approach would be leaning into their prospects to generate excitement for the team. Look what happened with Boston Red Sox and Roman Anthony… when he was called up the complexion of the team changed.
Dementia dave is delusional sign bader u dopes
Arron Nola is out 4!! What’s the problem?
Can anyone really argue that we don’t have the best top 3 rotation in the league?
Also, I gotta say does everyone forget I mean if Kirk makes the most routine play there is we’re going to game seven and I think we could say we would beat the Dodgers but even if not, we went Toto tow without the leagues best pitcher in Zach Wheeler? Our offense didn’t get any worse it could be better so I don’t know what everyone’s fucking complaining about, would be love to have Bichette of course, Tucker, of course, but it didn’t happen and frankly, I think everyone knew it wouldn’t really so relax. We’re gonna compete. It might be a lot better than everyone thinks.
I see the Phillies going nowhere,22/23/24/25/ 4 flops am now waiting for the grand flop.this team proved they could not win a W/S if it was handed to them.
Very mid team.
The lack of a good farm system is hurting the Phils. It hasn’t changed in 30 years never will.
I think the fan base is getting dumber. How could you look at all of the contracts on this team and expect them to make big splashes every season? They have plenty of money invested on a team that can make the playoffs. Just get in and get hot and you can win
