That Bay Area Unite Shirsey is sick! Go Sharks!
I am praying so hard for this trade
Not interested, unless we give up players that we simply don’t need
Hard to see someone who is a younger Mario helping this team’s future, but in Grier we trust.
Thanks JD for the run down
Forget Schneider – Pohlkamp to the rescue and resign Mario
A first and bystedt would be a fucking awful trade for us. I love your content jd but that sounds like a stretch for what is essentially a 3rd pairing D….
As with everything, depends on the price. 😅
Too many questions on him for the expected return.
I know he's a more similar player to Ferraro, but I would see this as an upgrade on Liljegren. RH shot, big and defensively sound feels like trying to find Dickinson a partner next year for that 2nd pairing. Still a first plus a former 1st/early 2nd round prospect seems like a lot to give up.
Ive been on the Schneider train since his draft. Shame he ended up in NYR. He needs a change of scenery.
Play nhl25/26. Homeboy is a stud 🤣🤣
4.5mil/5yrs
Grier won’t overpay that is a fact!
Interesting that Iorio wasn’t mentioned at all in the Pagnotta report?
Essentially two firsts (Bystedt and Edmonton’s pick) for a mediocre 25 year old D? Hard pass.
really hope they re-sign Vinny, that guy is a massive human spider web on defense, Chara 2.0 the RHD version.. and think he's super valuable to this team on/off the ice!
As a former 1st-rounder is Braden Schneider worth the Sharks 1st round in 2026? The upside for NYR is that the Sharks DONT make the playoffs, so you'd have to lottery protect it. I think realistically with a solid draft class in 2026 it would still entice a 1-for-1, Sharks 1st (top 10 lottery protected) for Schneider, so trading the Sharks 1st if we make playoffs that's 16+ and this guy was 19th overall. I don't mind Ferraro + 3rd for this guy… or Lilly + EDM pick for him. I think its something to ponder.. maybe Cags or Dickie would be a perfect pairing for this guy? I worry that we're not going to be able to get high enough pick next year to get a solid RHD stud D-man, so with an embarrassment of riches at wing already we're so so good, our prospect D-core outside of Dickie/Cags/Muk is weak as… if we keep Vinny, grab a guy like Schneider.. we're headed in the right direction D-wise! I feel like Bystedt has potential at LW, he was a rockstar in the WJC and scored bigtime goals… we really gotta get a look at this guy in the NHL sooooooon, before thinking of parting ways.
Ferraro+Bystedt+2nd round. Lets do this!!!!!
1st and Bystedt/Lund for player like Schneider?! In what world lol? I would absolutely pass on this one. We’ve got Mario Ferraro at home and doesn’t need another one. I think we’ve made a big, big fault that we’ve slept on Miller. Wanted him so bad and if you see the trade the return for him is almost the same that is projecting for Schneider lmao. I know the market doesn’t offer too much but god please, pass on this guy Mike. I would rather resign Deshairnais, Mukh and call Cagnoni, sign Pohlkamp rather than doing experiments with Schneider.
For example (26/27):
Dickinson-Orlov
Cagnoni-Deshairnais
Mukh-Pohlkamp
