Lane Kiffin’s coaching move from Oxford to Baton Rouge was the talk of college football.

Now, the former Alabama offensive coordinator has a message for both Rebels and Tigers fans who are still battling online over the coach’s move.

“It’s a sport guys,” Kiffin posted Thursday on X. “Stop attacking each other personally and each others families. Move on and both sides just enjoy what they have. Make a grateful list of what you have this morning and focus on that and not what you don’t have.”

It isn’t the first time Kiffin has called for a cease fire.

In December, Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry were going back and forth on X leading up to Ole Miss’ College Football Playoff game against Tulane.

“It’s not the Hunger Games, guys,” Kiffin posted in response to the governors. “Let’s cheer for each other all year long, except when we play each other.”
