The Timberwolves are EXTREMELY Frustrating

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the most frustrating teams in the NBA. They were just playing their best basketball and have now lost four straight games to the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, and Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert are having great seasons, but do they have enough to compete around Anthony Edwards or will this be an active trade deadline to try to get to contention?

  1. I think the odd man out has to be Randle but I guess time will tell. They should trade for a guard and honestly Dennis Schroeder sounds really fun. It’s probably there best available option for the assets they can use to trade with.

  2. One thing I think hasn’t been talked enough about is how well wemby is shooting this year. We all knew he was a good three point shooter but he is at damn near 40% from three this year which I did not expect.

  3. We already have a perfect long term number 2:

    Jaden McDaniels

He averages 15 points per game.
    51/41/86

    On top of that,

    when Anthony Edwards doesn't play,
McDaniels usually scores between 20 – 30 points per game,

Because he gets the ball more often.

Let's not forget that Jaden McDaniels is an All NBA Level Defender as well.

The GM mentioned that besides Ant being untradable, McDaniels is the other player, who is "close" to untradable.

So trade talks involving Jaden McDaniels are well woven fairy tales at the best of times.

The problem is that the Coach keeps playing Donte Di Vincenzo as a starter.

We are not going to compete for a championship with a run-off-the-mill three point merchant at the point guard position.

Furthermore the coach rarely plays Terrance Shannon Jr.

    And when he plays him,
He plays him as a three point shooter,

When in reality he is an absolute fantastic slasher, Dunker & Lob Threat & even better in Fast Breaks & Transitions.

Shannon Jr. would be a massive weapon to send downhill.

I would start him every game.

Since before the season I expected Shannon Jr. to start & push the pace like there was no tomorrow.

Instead he has him standing in a corner & waiting if the ball falls in his hands so he can be a run-off-the-mill three point merchant like Bob & Erwin at the local bar down the road.

    But no.

The coach thinks we are competing for a championship with Donte Di Vincenzo as our point guard.

    Cheers everybody Cheers 🍻

Let's get drunk to cope with that decision.
