Most important reason: Toboni got played and gave him away for a song.

Absolutely spot-on man can't believe all the people that are stuck just looking at the era and see the war and the splits pre All-Star and consider he got injured and all the facts that he stated with going from worst continue the top in defensive teams and pitchers ballpark😂
I saw this trade on the MLB channel. The rangers gave up a lot for Gore but even though an upside on fire he eats a lot of innings and gets ALOT of ground ball outs. So basically looking at it it's a fair trade. I am a DIE HARD METS FAN and I love the Peralta trade because the Mets still have four 100 MLB prospects so this trade doesn't hurt us at all
