Falcons Free Agency: Priorities Revealed
On Cellini & Dimino, hosted by Nick Cellini and Chris Dimino, the discussion centered on the Atlanta Falcons’ upcoming free agents, with particular focus on linebacker Kaden Elliss and tight end Kyle Pitts.
The hosts agreed that Elliss should be a top priority for the organization, citing his consistent production, versatility, and importance to the defense. They emphasized that retaining Elliss would help maintain continuity and stability on a unit that relies heavily on his presence and leadership.
Conversely, Cellini and Dimino expressed less urgency regarding Kyle Pitts’ future in Atlanta. While acknowledging Pitts’ talent and potential, they argued that his impact has not consistently matched expectations and that the Falcons could afford to move on if he commands a significant contract in free agency.
Overall, the hosts concluded that the Falcons must be selective with their resources this offseason, making Kaden Elliss a clear re-signing priority while remaining comfortable letting Kyle Pitts walk if the price is too high.

Ellis was to slow on most cases, we can really do Deoblo and Walker to roam at linebacker. We will just wish Trice will come back at outside LB
I think Simon is will take Kyle spot
Need to franchise tag Ellis
Let's be clear the defense was not the same without Devine
Stefanski utilizes "12 personnel" like Kyle Shanahan. Where are The Falcons going find two pass-catching TEs? Cap space will come from not resigning the veterans on defense. London and Robinson are going to be hit constantly and possibly injured. Franchise Pitts for a season. Then, The Falcons will have draft picks in all rounds.
Falcons can't assess players in their own building. Landman was a fail, Pitts is poison.
