It’s still kind of unreal how bad the top of the Rays system performed last year. There’s still a ton of quality depth in the system but not having a top 50 guy is just brutal
Thank god we at least reloaded our farm system after trading all our fan favorite players?
Or at the very least we have 3-4 of our 9 first round picks since 2020 in the top 100? Especially since 7 of them were high schoolers you’d hope half of them would pan out right?
Remember when we used to have good prospects at least?
Now we have nothing to be optimistic about lol

Carson that low seems pretty harsh, his defense alone makes him top 50
Prospect rankings are mostly a waste of time. The top prospects usually pan out but even then it’s a coin flip.
Aranda was never ranked too highly and he turned out fine.
Eh, the prognosticators are way too low on so many of our pitching prospects its crazy. The position side isn’t looking as hot, but health permitting we have a ton of mid-rotation prospects (Hopkins, Nichols, Suarez, Harrison, Urbina, Forret, Brito, and Johnson just needs a 3rd pitch to be a TOR type arm).
