Should the Canucks trade for Shane Wright?
The Seattle Kraken are dangling Shane Wright, as they looking for a top 6 winger in return. Should the Canucks make a play for the young centre?

Absolutely not
May I interest you In jake Debrusk and a third round pic
Answer, yes. Do they have the resources to do so, no
How about a package for 2 wingers and give us Wright and the 1st. lol letβs get wild
Trade for Conor garland and a second round pick.
Garland has been Vancouvers best kept secret for a long time. He is definitely a top player.
Jake debrusk, Connor garland for Shane a second and first round pick
Shane Wright is a bust and has an attitude issue
They're "dangling" Shane Wright? Not many teams biting. Watch the vid of his reaction on draft night. Kid drops from consensus 1st to 4th and walks up on stage with a sour look on his face. He felt entitled to more, and he certainly hasn't proven the other GMs wrong. Probably not a top-10 player in his draft class. If anything he went too high.
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd do garland, Raty and a 3rd
Should they? No. We want to be competing after stocking stocking up picks and prospects, and developing those that need more time. Along with that depth, we need to have an elite, game changing center and defenceman. 4 years minimum, likely 5+.
Will they? Canucks ownership and management have shown not to have the patience to stick to a long term plan to build a contender. Not competitive, but a contender. I'll give them another chance…
It's tough to be a die hard, committed Canucks fan. I'll probably give them infinite chances. None of us have infinite time π
the answer here is NO
A big no thanks!
