  1. Max Clark being good would be good for baseball.

He has a very online personality.

Bad for his life probably but good for clicks and eyes on baseball.

  2. Is shortstop really that deep? Or is that the position guys start at and then transition to 2nd or 3rd?

  3. Still one of the wilder moves of the trade deadline was Preller flipping a consensus top prospect like Leo De Vries for Mason Miller

  4. Wait the Athletics have Wilson at short and the number 4 prospect De Vries is also a shortstop. So who is going to get moved out of those two?

  5. Casual fan asking but didn’t McLean get a good amount of games for the Mets. When does a prospect stop being a prospect and is a senior player?

  6. I wonder how many of those shortstops actually stick. I know McG is destined for 2B or 3B.

  7. In one of my OOTP 22 or 23 saves, Max Clark amassed 120+ WAR. It’s one of the reasons I’ve always kept an eye on him

  8. I can’t complain about 2 and 10 considering the cheap ass owner refuses to spend a penny on this team

  9. So you do what Trey Yesavage did last year in the playoffs and he can’t even crack the Top 10.

  10. I still can’t get over the Angels having the 2nd overall pick and STILL picking a random college player over the top picks. It’s almost comical…Almost. The mental gymnastics on the Angels sub defending Perry Minasian are a sight to behold.

  11. Some of these guys have seen mlb action, some have been on this list before. Basallo has an mlb contract…not sure he can be considered a prospect anymore?

  12. Only 1 of those top 5 is actually a shortstop. They have to stop mislabeling to make these players feel better.

These dudes are NOT shortstops. Cut the bs out.

  13. It’s amazing to me that McLean can come to the majors, start 8 games, pitch incredibly well, put up really good traditional and advanced stats, and still have 5 prospects ahead of him.
