  1. It is scientifically proven. Altitude sickness exists and is very much real! The stadium is at an altitude of 5,280 ft. Minor symptoms can develop within the first 12 hours. More severe symptoms happen one or two days after. So depending on when the visiting team makes it to Denver. Turn that determines how well your body can acclimate.
