Yet when he’s with the Knicks he’s scared to even look at the basket when he’s right under it looking to pass or bobbling the rock smh….it goes to show it’s all confidence
I hope he becomes serviceable next season, that way KAT could play at the 4 more.

That’s surprising! He plays with zero confidence this year with the Knicks. I had high hopes for him becoming a good backup big this year.
I think he plays too safe so he doesn’t get yanked. Would like to see more confidence out there
In the G-League he definitely shoots.
Went 0-4 in his Westchester debut this year.
I feel like if he did this in a non-blowout game he’d get yanked after the first shot attempt unless Mike gives him the green light to shoot 3s
Mike Brown probably doesn’t want him too, when he plays cause the jumper does look good
Guaranteed Minutes = Growing Confidence.
Fear of sucking causes sucking and then experiencing and getting over sucking causes no fear of sucking and then no fear of sucking causes good play. Just need the right coaching environment to get to that last stage quickly.
It’s also why it takes so long to become good at golf.
Hope the coach lets him shoot in a game some time. Should have told him to let it rain at the end of the Nets game!
