  1. These FA catcher signs over the last couple seasons haven't gone well. We just added young catcher Nate Baez in a trade for Tristan Gray and signed much earlier Jason Delay…..if they are bound n determined to sign a FA….I'd sign Jonah Heim as he's only one season removed from a career year…..

  2. You already have backup C in Contreras. Why look to add another automatic Out from a Catcher? When you can just let Contreras play a la Salvador Perez, 1B, Catcher, and DH

  3. I don’t really see any of these guys coming onto the roster before opening day. I’m OK with our Wong and Narvaez rotation. Definitely an important topic though.

  4. Bringing in Heim or Vazquez on a minor league deal wouldn’t be a bad idea. Wong might bounce back but if he has another year like last year (he was not a serviceable big league catcher) we have to have an other option. Not sure if you saw but the Mets DFA’ed Copper Criswell and I would not mind the Sox signing him to a minor league deal. He always performed well in whatever role the Sox asked for him. As a retired military guy I hope Noah Song can resurrect his career. I thank him for his service.

  5. Thank god for the improvement in the pitching world of the redsox minor league system. This is something I have been harping on forever. This is the major stand out to me. I am not that worried about Wong as others are. He had some injury issues. I think this is a come back year for him. I am glad the sox are reluctant to part with their promising young pitching. Being a sox fan for over 60 years I have lived through some pretty lean years of pitching talent in the organization. Some of those years were not much fun. Has everyone forgotten about Marcus Phillips??? I notice no one brings up the name much. Wonder how he will pan out. Regarding Mikey Romero. I am a real renegade . Rather than trade away a major piece I would be talking to him about playing second base. He is healthy and if I remember right had a very good season . Good athlete, good hands would probably do well. I know its a bit early but its worth thinking about. Great video Corbin !!!!!!

  6. Even though getting another catcher is not a priority I'd bring Vazquez back he can't hit but his defense is worth a look. Pitching depth is always crucial it's possible these guys might see the major league team but I'd think it is very unlikely. We'll see what happens ⚾🤞
