Cale looks like such a kid in this photo.
Excited to see if Cale can get close, meet or exceed Bourques Norris wins. Both such fun platers to watch although I wish I’d been able to see Bourque play more during his peak years in Boston.
Blake was a very good player but had no business winning the Norris that year. Don’t hate too much…he won as an LA King. Numminen, Pronger, Lidstrom and Niedermayer all had better seasons than Blake that year.
Rob Blake should’ve retired with the avs. He wanted to stay but Francois Giguere didn’t want to give him a contract. Same guy that traded Tanguay.
Literally my 3 favorite defensemen of all time. Rob Blake was my favorite player growing up, and Makar is my current favorite. Plus, I’m originally from New England, so Bourque makes the perfect trifecta.
That’s a genuine smile from Cale. He’s really enjoying being around those two.
