Malachi Lawrence is a pass rush beast, he’s tied for first place with Rueben Bain for pressure rate. 6’4” 250 with 35” arms. Lightning first step and relentless motor. 89.9 pff rush grade. Projected day 3 selection due to bad rush defense ( pff 62.2 ) and poor outlook to be an every down defender.
This would definitely not be our first round pick, but we need to come out of that first round with either Reese (not likely), Downs, or Bain.
So, they’re obviously not very interested in edge. With that knowledge.. does this mean we aren’t going edge early?
Does this mean we are assuming these players will be available later in the draft where we have more picks and can take some shots?
I say this assuming these players aren’t the “premium” players in the draft. Some JpB/armstrong types?
Wonder if this means there’s a higher chance we look elsewhere early like downs/wr/lb/db or something

Absolutely LOVE THIS! please get downs pick a CB or WR in RD3 and look at DE LB and OL the rest of the way.
