73-9 with this amount of injuries is a huge reach. I’d much rather have our guys healthy and have the team clicking for the playoffs.
That dream was over before Christmas. Last year’s record was amazing with the injuries they had and they’ve had even more this year.
The Warriors were freakishly healthy that year. That’s what it would take.
The other thing you’re seeing is teams gunning for them. Especially teams that are tanking who essentially show up to get a win vs the champs. Utah and Indiana are two that come to mind off the top of my head. They both can be much better than what their tanking lineups put out there most nights and if the Thunder don’t bring energy from the jump you give them confidence that turns it into a 4Q game.
This was never the goal tho not necessarily. Like Sga said, obviously you want to win as many games as you can. With that being said I hope no one is disappointed we won’t break the record lol. Another championship is much more important, that is the goal.
Just looked at it, they’ve played 46 games and are 37-9, same record as well last year with the same amount of games played. Now hopefully the same ending as well. TTFU
Look at all the injuries across NBA. A long season to navigate through, but even with our disproportionate share of injuries we are in a great position. Trading Ous will bring Carlson into the mix playoff-wise, that alone will help.
