Reports of around 30 cm of snow possible. When was the last time a home game was postponed due to the weather?

  1. I’m wondering this as well. Because I’m taking my 5 year old son, and we’re an hour away on a good day.

  2. Happens all the time in the Metro division. New Jersey, Islanders, rangers. Eastern seaboard gets blizzards all the time. Buffalo too.

January 17, 2024, Chicago @ Buffalo was PPD

  3. I think it’s going to be way worse later in the afternoon / evening.. I highly doubt they’ll postpone it

  4. I highly doubt it. I’ve had worse snow falls on work days before the pandemic and had to go into the office.

  5. No it’s only really starting after 1pm and the game starts at 130.

    Just trace amounts before then

  6. It’s a very long stretch of dangerous temps & precipitation. It may get cold enough for rail switches to freeze/malfunction, in which case GO and possibly even ttc lines would be down. If that happens, hopefully they postpone it out of respect to fans who don’t live DT.

  7. 30cm is just winter. Unless power gets knocked out or something, nothing is getting cancelled.

2007 I lived in Ottawa and it fella metre at a time. It was wild.

  8. And on top of that lakeshore west Go trains aren’t running forcing people like myself to drive there.
