Worst part was Finley got an extra two while Foligno should have gotten a match for that hit. We will see if the Department of Player Unsafety does anything. Prolly not.
The reason is that the NHL Director Of Hockey Operations who oversees the officials and officiating is the Father of the Asst GM of the Florida Panthers and the NHL Director Of Player Safety is a former Fkorida Panther! This means the Panthers get away with injuring opposing players particularly the Lightning with dirty hits this how they won 2 Stanley Cups other teams have complained about it. The last 3 times we played the Panthers they targeted and took out Hagel the last time Hagel was hit in the head with an elbow hit to the head the referee was right there looking at it check out the video did nothing no penalty and nothing done by the league! I can assure you if Hagel had done that to Jones he would have gotten a 5 min major, a game misconduct and bern ejected from the game and he would have been fined and suspended as well! This what we are dealing with!
Kudos to Finley for stepping in. Foligno is a very seasoned fighter. Very tough first assignment for him.

This is why when people start talking about trades. I say we 1 or 2 true heavyweight enforcer who can play or you’re going to see this crap a lot in the playoffs. So tired of seeing people take liberties on our players.
Do none of our big guys wear chin straps? My god, keep that helmet on boys!
