I’ve got no problem with matthews avoiding the media. Why should he have to answer marner questions AGAIN😂 y’all are whack dude. Fans cheering during a video tribute is called pure class. He did a lot for the community and was a factor to the team making the playoffs. Unfortunately didn’t transfer into the playoffs.
Bang on JD that this is a bigger problem and the attitude of the league that “you the fan will always watch and we will never care to improve” – Gary doesn’t change the playoff format, the 3 point games, the watered down product or number of games, the salary cap, the obvious Panthers bias. We don’t care and you’ll enjoy it no matter what.

Of course they are going to stick up for one of their players. It is OK to go to a visiting team game and cheer your side. Its NOT OK to be booing their players in front of home fans. When you did something for a team when it counts, like winning a cup or maybe a playoffs series, you might deserve an applause…When you choked in every big game you ever played in, you don't deserve the kind of treatment Marner got last night.

I like Laughton but let's cool it, I hope that his attitude and gumption rubs of on everyone else. Cowan should have been in the minors for two reasons, learning how to play and eating some humble pie to give him the hunger to play in the big league. He's kind of brutal…
What differs between regular teams and cup contenders is that cup contenders can show some effort when it really matters. Vegas has the pedigree while Leafs yet have to prove you wrong.
I'm sure real fans respect and appreciate what Marner has done in Toronto. You can boo for fun but like others said, most fans have some class. As for Bunkis and Sammy, you guys look like your hot ex-girlfriend left and has moved on with an upper-class boyfriend while you guys are sulking in your basement and can't get a date.
