They were formerly known as The Roughnecks then the UFL changed and rebranded them now as the Gamblers.

Here is their schedule that was just released on last Friday. Interesting, they have home games on Easter (April 5 at home vs. Birmingham Stallions) and Mother’s Day (May 10 at home vs. Orlando Storm). That could start a new tradition for Spring-season professional football much like Thanksgiving and Christmas for the NFL seasons.

  2. I might watch a handful of these games but I just can’t bring myself to care about a league with 8 teams in it

  4. I vastly prefer the roughnecks branding, but its hard to care about UFL teams when they keep relocating.

    The San Antonio Brahma we the actual Roughnecks, they just got transfered when the USFL and XFL merged. Then the USFL Houston Gamblers took the Roughnecks branding after the nerge into the UFL. But now the Brahma are in Orlando and have a different name because of contract issues with the Alamodome.

    I’ll watch them if its convenient, but until theres some stability with the teams, its real hard to care.
