7. I think, within this patience, DQ is doing a coach 360. He's an old dog seeking to learn new tricks. He's bringing in young DC talent to watch film and provide input on our defensive blind spots from a play call standpoint. They may even provide some nuggets on players we should bring in to accomplish their style of play calling. But if I was DQ, I'd take over the DC calls. Ain't no way I'd bring in a "possibility" with the current defensive roster. I wouldn't be surprised if DQ announces his plans to call plays. I also have a feeling they are going to hire a young secondary position coach. One that's been low key turning heads as a defensive prodigy. One that's known to produce turnovers. But right now, there are too many openings. DC prospects are waiting to see where the chips fall at the HC positions before making a decision. And why would a coach take a gig that could end in week 8 of next year (if the losing continues here) when they can get hired by a new coach with at least a year. BTW, Eric Bienemy is the OC for KC again. So there's definitely a shift happening this year.

10. I believe theyre waiting for karl scott, we see what desperate looks like, for example philly for their OC. Its not like washington is losing candidate's because theyre getting jobs and not picking washington. If they were desperate i would think they would just bite the bullet and hire one of these dc that are lower on their list so they dont come away with nothing.

22. Sorry for the late comment. Michael Pettaway Tomlin, VA native born and raised in Hampton, VA. Recent head coach of the for the Pittsburgh Steelers who never had a losing season/record after 19 years, which is the longest streak in NFL history. Age 53 with Defensive coordinator exp. with the Minnesota Vikings in 2006, (has WR, TE position coach exp.). This man should be our next DC or at least get an interview. He should be a consideration to replace DQ if he still wants work.

26. Louie, you are correct of 1st is to find the right DC. The next step is to get rid of the old and pick up some proven defenders coming off their rookie contract. It is time to let Bwag retire and become a LB coach with us. Let the DC trade some players, and spent money on players the DC wants. Draft the players that DC see that will work in his system. Cannot have the right DC with the wrong players. Management need to get the players and spend the money to be successful. STOP relying on budget players and get and pay for the talent we need.
