12. It's because nobody looks at batting average anymore. The only two offensive stats that they care about are WRC+ and OPS and since arraez is below average in both he is not valued all that much. He doesn't hit for power and he doesn't walk plus his defense isn't very good. So overall he is a below average player the one thing he does well is hit singles and that just doesn't cut it anymore.

    Geno is a nice player, few RH pull hitters can make Yankee Stadium work, you need Gary Sheffield level exit velocity. Geno is a "mistake hitter" who beats up on middle relievers
