  1. I been thinking of something. With Donovan and the Cardinals. Maybe by chance they are not shopping Donovan, but instead extend him for a multi-million dollar contract. There are players that there might not be a fit from other teams for the Cardinals to let go of a player in Donovan's pedigree. Also, The Cardinals can trade another player like Nootbarr and/or Burleson to work it out.

  2. Valdez made a huge mistake when he crossed up his own catcher on purpose. That one pitch is causing every team to rethink signing him. Can’t blame them.

  3. Braves are not getting anyone unless it is a minor league contract unfortunately. They will save money for the trade deadline relying on their core. Didn’t work last year so I am a bit concerned..

  4. Cubs one of four eugenio saurez make him dh nico hoerner matthew boyd ian happ kevin alcantra seiya suzuki to redsox for garret crochet tony casissa jaren duran wilyer abreu framber valdez nick castellanos

  5. The Giants dont need a second baseman as much as they need help in the outfield. defensively the Giants had the worst outfield in mlb after they traded Yaz. And, oracle park is one of the toughest outfield environments there is

  6. I don't like the Urshella take with the Jays. If Okamoto isn't playing 3rd where's he playing? It's not first. Maybe LF? Not sure I like that. They should go trade for Donovan.

  7. I’m a lifelong Orioles fan. Always enjoy your episodes. First, I agree that we need another ā€œtop-of-the-rotationā€ pitcher. Having said that, you continue to say we don’t have a clear #1, and he’s actually already there. By the end of the ā€˜26 season, Kyle Bradish will re-establish himself as our ace.

  8. Jim… the Jays already have options at third. Barger, Okomoto even Schnieder… I doubt they go for a position player with low offensive upside. I think any position player upgrades will come in the form of a trade.

I would go with a reliever to get more middle options for Toronto

  9. I've been pushing Castellanos for the Cardinals after a DFA. If not, another cheap right-handed hitting left fielder. They will need one, especially if Nootbar isn't ready and he is left- handed anyway.

  10. Reds move doesnt make a lot of sense. Not that its bad but the reds need an established power bat that doesnt strike out. I think the Reds move is to sign Ozuna. Power bat that will be cheap ( less than 10 million per year). Also he is older so he will be willing to sign a 1 or 2 year deal. Reds dont want money commited after this year because of the CBA so it makes sense that this is their move.

  11. The Angels would bring Tyler Anderson back on a one year way before bringing back Giolito. Have you actually watch Soriano or Detmers pitch? They are actually very good pitchers and Giolito is definitely not ahead of them in skill. Dispite all the reports on how crap the Angels are all the time, we actually have some pretty good players.

  12. As an A's fan I'd take an extension for Jacob Wilson or Nick Kurtz (I'd prefer Nick but Jacob is more likely.) and have Gunnar Hoglund as the number 5 starter.

  13. Ideally, the rockies sign a consistent bat like Arraez, but the price tag might be too high, and on the pitching side of things, maybe somebody like nestor cortes or trade some prospects for a middle of the rotation, consistent guy
