Man it’s wild seeing dates from 2026 when we’re barely into January, makes the offseason feel even longer than usual
DAY 435 (1038/538) on THE ROAD TO THE 2026 6TH WBSC-MLB WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC – It’s Building Up
Congrats to the gold medalists of the Australian, Mexican Pacific and Dominican Leagues! And our greetings to those who are already in the Cuban National Series divisional semifinals.
With the two league champions finally announced in Mexico and the Dominican Leagues, the road to the two Carribean playoff events is slowly becoming clear with almost all participant national leagues punching their qualification slots.
These teams already qualified to these events by virtue of being league champions include many who come March will be wearing the uniform of their national program in the upcoming World Baseball Classic and thus these events serve as a preview of what this upcoming event is offering and the gameday fan experience everyone is expected to see every day of this event. These coming weeks of competitive play thus serves as a warm up to the massive reception these national stars will be facing.
In addition, these also provide the baseball fanbase with a first view of the coming Olympics qualifiers in which these nations are participating and preparing for in the coming months.
The remaining slots in both the Carribean and Americas series are being filled up as of this time. For the fans, what happens next month is just a foretaste of the excitement that is coming their way.
For Glory
John
