Heck No. Monkin was exposed by keeping 77 out there not protecting Lamar which explains why he was hurt alllllllll season, not playing Henry is key plays especially on the 2 yard line and other stupid calls. Lamar has been covering for the OC’s bad play calls.

It makes no sense to keep Monken….he ran a good offense for the 1st 3 quarters of most games, Ravens would have the lead in most of these games heading into the 4th quarter. There were multiple games where Derrick Henry wouldnt be in the game at the end of games….that to me as a Ravens fan made no sense which is why Biscotti didnt keep Monken.
This dude talking like Hamilton is not a top 2 safety and even with a down year Roquan is still a top 5 linebacker and Wiggins was a 1st round pick
Mike McDonald is from that same Harbaugh tree and look what he's done wit the Seahawks and that defense!! So thats a vague argument that they went out and got another Harbaugh….when Steve Biscotti said in his press conference that he wanted someone opposite of Harbaugh…..An X's and O's guy and Jesse Minter is that. And to say that they have no hall of fame players on defense is an insane comment. Kyle Hamilton was rated the #1 safety in the league. Justin Madebeke is a best but I think his career is done due to his neck injury. Roquan Smith is a dog! Malaki Starks is an up and coming rookie who was a good pick for us last draft. Marlon Humphrey is still a good corner….he got beat alot this year because of the Ravens not having good coaching up front. Mike green on our D-Line is a beast…pressure and blitzes helps the secondary in multiple ways. Main thing in all of this is that we needed to get back to our identity….which is having a great defense and Harbaugh was known for giving up the most 4th quarter blown leagues in the last 6 years….so yeah….I like this move! Lamar and that offense is still gonna be good regardless….defense is what has been lacking since McDonald left….majority of those games we couldve won had we had a better defense because how can we score 40 pts in the 1st 3 games of the season and only win 1 of those games….thats insane! That next game against the Chiefs is when Lamar got injured and he hadnt been the same since that game….we have one of the worst offensive pass blocking line in the league….as soon as Lamar hikes the ball, pressure was in his face almost immediately. Oline, Dline, pass rush, blitzing and defensive scheme is whats been missing in Baltimore and Hopefully this moves gets us closer to who we use to be.
Our best player is currently Kyle Hamilton until proven otherwise. This hire was for him. I give it an A+.

The Ravens hiring Minter shows they have no interest in pleasing Lamar. This was a comfort pick by EDC and Bisciotti. He’d already been in the building. My thing is…who’s following Minter, and more importantly. Who wants to coach for Minter?

TJ brings up playoffs but doesn’t add any context. Herbert throw 4 INT and 2 were pick 6s vs Houston in 2025 playoffs. When Chargers played Pats in the playoffs this year they gave up 16 points and Herbert played like trash. Context matters.

Lamar wasn't feuding with the head coach, he was banged up basically the whole year.This is a great hire,defense was the problem the last 2yrs not offense.They kept blowing 4th quarter leads.
