“Aukerman previously spent seven seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He was a special teams assistant in 2017 before getting promoted to special teams coordinator in 2018 and adding assistant head coach to his title from 2019-23. The Titans made it to the postseason four times during Aukerman’s tenure, claiming two AFC South titles and advancing into the divisional round twice.”

  1. I can handle "C+ to B" coaching hires, consider exactly what we had. And given how close we got to winning the division, we just needed to replace issues with coaching and leadership and that we did.

  2. We don’t need A+ hiring. The roster can take care of the rest that’s how good our roster is I’m loving most of these hires and retentions bc all we need a competence THATS IT. Competence.

  3. We want a coach for the long haul. Kubiak isn’t going anywhere (I think) and we are not going to give the ravens coach the world for him to just be around for 2 years

  4. Only positive thing about special teams hire is we cant get any worse seeing we are last in the league already 😂 anything is an improvement 😂

  5. I am not sure if we have an upgrade in coaching. Only time will tell. We didn't get when Mike Vrabel was available 2 years ago and now didn't go after Sean McDermott or Kubiak.
