  1. i think even without adding another infielder this teams gonna be great the Rotation is top tier in my opinion and i think the young guys step up big marcello has a big year roman has a big year and eventually kristian campbell gets back to the big leagues and contributes

  2. Pitching wins championships..the rotation and back end of the pen are right near the top in the sport. Then you add in the outfield and other young talent and it’s not a surprise that the Red Sox are well thought of by reality based baseball prognosticators. Unfortunately most RSR listeners don’t get it. Doesn’t mean that this front office has not done some really stupid stuff worth complaining about as well.

  3. 😂 comedy. Sell the team! John Henry sucks, breslow sucks, Sam Kennedy is John Henry’s girlfriend that’s why he has a job. Done paying some of the highest prices in the league to watch them cheap out every year and think they’re smarter then everyone. Henry plays poor better then most billionaires

  4. I left a negative comment on the last video but I’m genuinely excited for this 2026 team. Salty we don’t keep Bregman but to watch a full season of Roman Anthony and hopefully Marcelo Mayer should be fun. Also things are going to be very different with the ABS system. Pitchers aren’t gonna get away with K’s outside the zone anymore so I think it’s a HUGE win that we have this elite rotation

  5. If we can get one of thodr 2 infielders from the Cubs without giving up Duran or the right fielder we can be a legit contender

  6. I love our team and specifically our starting pitching, but undoubtedly, we need to push a little bit more this offseason if we really want to be elite contenders to win the world series. We need to A) Get an elite/close to elite bat like Bregman would've been with a full season and a decent infield defender to compliment story, marcelo and willson. In an ideal world this would be Ketel Marte but settling for a guy like Nico Horener without giving up too much is still ideal. B) With all the hype shown to our starting pitching last year, I would love to get another bullpen guy that we can truly rely on. Other than Chappy and Whitlock I think one more elite guy could really give us the edge we need. Slaten could step up and Tolle could be a LR by midseason but a garunteed high leverage arm in the bullpen would take us there. To get us here sadly we have to realize that guys like Wilyer, Duran, Bello and hopefully not but maybe Tolle or Early or Arias will have to be ON THE TABLE. This being said in an ideal world Breslow has the balls to makes these moves.

  7. The pitching has definitely improved however the offense is missing at least one hitter. If the roster is actually incomplete we really don't know what the team is going to look like. I'm trying to be optimistic but who knows. At least the Pat's are a good diversion right now. There's still we'll see what happens ⚾🤞

  8. What do I think about it? I think I hope the Red Sox front office doesn’t read this article. I pray they don’t cause then. They’re just gonna sit on their hands.😅

  9. Good job as always, Corbin. I'm ready for Spring Training and the World Baseball Classic. I'm hoping Cora can play chess with his pieces. Use Duran, Campbell, Gonzalez and Raphaella when needed at OF, INF and DH. Versatility should be a team concept. 'Cowboy up', as Kevin Millar would say. Find some at-bats at C for 1B Contreras. Find at-bats for Casas at 1B-3B-DH. Be ready to shift Story and Mayer, when needed. Develop the Big Three Prospect pitchers, Early, Tolle and Witherspoon. All have the potential to be another Crochet. I'm so glad they weren't traded.

  10. What is really startling to me is that the Red Sox have the opportunity to hire all these internet GM's and win the World Series every single year but they don't pull the trigger and get it done. Instead they hire know-nothings like Breslow who don't do anything but watch games from the booth. It's just sad. Now on the other hand this team will be a formidable club with what they have right now barring injuries. And they have depth if there are injuries. And if Kambell and Mayer can live up to their potential they may not even need a trade deadline for the power bat everyone is crying for.

  11. I’m still optimistic- but I am sincerely a diehard Sox fan. Good point in our minimizing the Contreras addition. I think it’s been hard to rebound from not resigning Bregman… I’m going to refocus on my belief in our manager and know that Cora can pull growth out of Abreu, Rafaela and Mayer etc…and also be excited about our pitching depth.

  12. The Sox may have improved the pitching this year, but they have gone down in power and they may not have improved the defense as much as you would like. Contraras may help a bit on the infield side of things but you would then have to see any negatives, Story's range took a step back and he is getting older, they have no clue who will play 2B right now, Mayer may be good at 3B but needs to stay healthy and that has yet to happen and Casas more than likely ends up in minors all year and gets hurt again. Durran had one good year so far and his defense went from really bad to good to not so great. I think this year will tell if the really good year was a one off or if he is a liability in the field. The pitchers they have are going to rely heavily on defense and for 4 or 5 years now they have been at the very bottom of the league and that may counter the pitching. To think they will be dangerous this year you are hoping that everything goes right, they stay healthy and learn how to really play defense.

  13. I am very optimistic about this group of Sox. I do think however we are going to be leaning on these young guys on the offensive side. I feel very strongly we should pay well for someone at 2B say for Hoener or go back to AZ and blow them away for Marte. The line up is flawed and I think we have to fix it. With all that said as constructed this is going to be a good team and will be fun to watch. But, WS contender I am not sure

  14. No doubt there rotation is formidable. They are a right handed hitter away from winning 90 games.Being optimistic Anthony hits 25 HRs, Abreu 30 HR, Rafaela 17 HR Contreras 24,HR Mayer 16 HR and Story 18 HR so they can make up the home runs from within!
