1. If AD wants to stay then he needs to renegotiate to a more team friendly deal. Until then he’s just a mercenary who cannot hold up his end of the bargain.

   So long as he wants to take up 25% of our salary to play 25-30 games per year he clearly does not give a crap about Mavericks fans. When words and actions diverge, believe the actions.

2. AD should fire his agent if they can't get on the same page. Agents are a dime a dozen.

5. There is no such thing as a team friendly extension for AD. There is no amount a team will pay for AD. Mavs just have to wait out his contract and he will be out of the league.

   The mavs main priority should be to get under the second apron and that starts off with moving gaff since I don’t believe he has a fit for this team anymore due to us not having a playmaker on this roster like Luka. Go from there to tweak the roster but you need to field your best players next year. AD and kyrie just needs to play 55-60 games next year for the team while coop can take the part of being the best player on the team next year. It will only work if coop is the best player on the team next year since Kyrie and AD can’t do that anymore from this point of their careers.

7. It's clear Rich is simply using AD for his own gain. He is Lebron's toy. AD, fire Rich and get an agent that actually wants to help you.

22. The Mavs don't have to give AD a max extension. He's under contract next season and has a big player option the following. I think it's fake news that this is such a big issue. Kyrie literally sat on his contract until he had on option in the summer. And guess what? The Mavs re-signed him after opting out for less money. Players want long term security, but they're typically not delusional about it which is the way you're presenting Rich Paul.

23. You guys said I was wrong – but, does appear that Rich Paul and AD are not on the same page and it's why Rich is doing damage control because AD isn't happy with how he is being represented. I think that AD wants to play and not give up on this season. He sees how strong the team is now and inserting Kyrie and Himself in to this squad gives him hope. That man isn't ALL ABOUT MONEY, his agent might be because he – his agent, has a vested interest in AD getting paid. Did you hear what he said, he doesn't care if it's the 31st Team, how do you think that goes down with a player of AD's caliber? Why haven't you guys considered the fact that AD would even consider less money to stay in Dallas – Kyrie did – how about that – Dallas has a really good TEAM right now, I think I agree with Nick, they want to see how the team finish the season.

24. Kyrie opted out and signed for a team friendly just last summer (i.e. after the Luka trade). That should be a clue as to where Kyrie's head's at. He didn't sign up for the team to be dismantled. He could have have asked for more if that was the plan. He left money on the table which allowed for other lesser players to get paid.

    Based on his health, age and availability. Not saying don't pay. All sides just be reasonable on expectations of deal.

34. The Mavericks are gonna fall into this trap. Do not play Anthony Davis again trade him put him on ice. He should never play another game for this team. He needs to go to a team that is contending for a championship that is not going to rely on him for the majority of the season.
