"The fail-vey" is building roster depth, he is hoping this team turns into the '91 Twins. When this team falls, there will be another roster sell off at the trade deadline like what happened in '25.
I find hard to believe that this team could even manage .500 baseball.
The Twins have 3 switch hitters now and 2 of them are power hitters and 2 can play 1st. Seems pretty simple to me.
They’re building a solid AAA team😊
I have that same ervin Santana bobblehead!!!
you're approaching your concerns about roster construction are valid but they only make sense to a franchise that has these two features
1. A competent FO
2. Ownership who actually want to invest and compete.
since the twins lack both their main objective is to do just enough to prevent an MLBPA grievance filing and invest as little as possible while allowing a complete dipshit in Fail-vey run the show.
The additional moves we need to see is 100% ownership change to where no pohlad is allowed within three states of the franchise and a complete house cleaning of the front office ad leadership from manager on up along with strength and conditioning staff.
i will withhold judgement on the coaching staff members who are new for now.
My guess is that they want to bring all of these guys to Spring Training and give the coaching staff the opportunity to build their own bench. Which isn’t a bad idea, I just wish they had better players to choose from.
